Riportiamo il testo dell’intervento di Abruzzese pubblicato sul n. 2 di Origine:

“… il senso che la vostra rivista assume in tempi non di scrittura ma di non-scrittura come quelli che stiamo vivendo. Meglio riconoscersi analfabeti che credersi scrittori.
Ed ecco il senso falsamente innocente che la vostra rivista rischia di assumere. Invece di porvi in essere, in di-venire, come scrittori, interessati a occupare le culle, le bare e le lapidi dei vostri padri, testimoni e controllori della tradizione scritta, perpetuando la tradizione che vincola al proprio contratto sociale i lettori e i non-lettori, la sfida che oggi andrebbe tentata è quella di farsi disinteressati alla continuità del tempo e di non illudersi nelle seduzioni degli alfabetizzati. Se un esercizio di scrittura va compiuto – e nella vostra rivista ve ne è qualche traccia, pur involontaria – è quello di sceneggiare piattaforme espressive che appartengano all’impotenza dei sudditi piuttosto che alle forme della letteratura, all’abitare piuttosto che al Sovrano (anche nel suo travestimento di ‘re nudo’ o ‘dio morto’), ai linguaggi del vostro corpo ‘così come è’ piuttosto che al sapere di ‘ciò che dovrebbe essere’. Questo è un mondo di processi, flussi e zone, non di opere, pubblici e forme. Fate marketing dell’impotenza, della sua capacità di eccedere oltre la pagina scritta e oltre il libro, oltre le parole dette come parole. Se volete scrivere per scrivere sappiate farlo come fosse un vizio. Date ai vostri testi il senso della loro inutilità. E, da questa unica nuova frontiera di una scrittura fatta solo per scrittori-lettori e lettori-scrittori, ricavate altro. L’altro che siete e non quello che vorreste essere. L’altro che rischiate di inibire per una banale – sociologica – ‘svista’ culturale.” (Alberto Abruzzese)

Caro Professore
“l’inutilità” del mio scrivere, questo “fare marketing dell’impotenza”, sono problemi che avverto e sento nella mia quotidianità, che sento nelle mie carni, nella mia pelle: nel mio corpo tutto. Nel linguaggio del mio corpo che ha fame, nel bisogno di una borsa di studio, di un posto di lavoro, di un tetto sotto cui ripararsi e vivere. “Meglio riconoscersi analfabeti che credersi scrittori” – dice lei, altri ci dicono “bravi, bravi che bello, continuate, continuate, perché non fate un concorso di poesia, fate scrivere una poesia ad ogni professore, ad ogni intellettuale, però devono scriverla tutti, è una bella iniziativa” – qualcuno ci dice di continuare il gioco, e poi si sa che la letteratura, la riflessione, l’approfondimento, non è una cosa seria!
E Lei professore vorrebbe toglierci il piacere di giocare!
Ma la prego, ci lasci al nostro ludus vacuo e demente!
Pensa veramente che vi siano state in altre epoche storiche, società della scrittura da contrapporre alla società attuale della non-scrittura? Mai come oggi, nella nostra società occidentale, un benessere diffuso, maggiore tempo libero, e accesso generalizzato al libro in termini di costi e distribuzione sia dal punto di vista del lettore sia dal punto di vista di chi scrive, rende la scrittura possibile e fin troppo facile. Facilità che sconfina con il dilettantismo. Il dilettantismo che è confuso con arte o ingegno se in chi legge non esistono parametri critici.
Certo il libro è uno strumento residuale di una società che pensa, la nostra corre veloce come un treno, correre, correre, fare, fare, vedere,vedere guai a fermarsi! Chi si ferma è perduto. La parola scritta non è più il centro della cultura, ma “se questo è un mondo di processi, flussi e zone”, noi marchiamo ancora ad uomo.
Lo ripeto, siamo gente poco seria, ma via ce lo conceda! Il gioco è per antonomasia inutile ed auto-referenziale. Abbiamo preso “una svista culturale”, un abbaglio: conseguita la nostra bella e brava laurea, ci apprestiamo a divenire impiegati nei call-center, commessi di negozio, camerieri, a incrementare le fila del precariato intellettuale.
L’Università di massa ha il risultato non di avere permesso ad un crescente numero di giovani di accedere alla cultura, ma viceversa di avere abbassato la cultura affinché possa essere in boccata a tutti gli eterni bambini-studenti. L’università sforna analfabeti, sforna tecnici incapaci di pensare oltre il libretto delle istruzioni di un “PC”, di un “Piano di comunicazione”, o “Come si compila un business plan?”. Tecnici giuridici, tecnici del marketing, biblici “mercanti del tempio” ora chiamati e-commerce manager. Basterebbe fare una ricerca nelle Facoltà Umanistiche (un sociologo è sempre li con dati e studi) su quanti laureati hanno letto almeno dieci classici del patrimonio mondiale del pensiero.
Di chi è la colpa di ciò? C’è bisogno di scrivere un libro per spiegare Perché Berlusconi ha vinto, come Lei ottimamente ed intelligentemente ha messo in evidenza? Se crisi politica vi è, questa è nel nostro sistema formativo. Passando dalla F di formazione alla F del buon re Ferdinando di Borbone: Forca, Farina e Festa, le tre forme attuali di istupidimento: Forca: emarginazione sociale, sottocultura, solitudine; Farina: benessere e consumismo; Festa: calcio–tv. Si sa che istupidimento è consenso se chi lo cerca non è sicuro del proprio valore. Cambiano le forme ma non il risultato. E l’istupidimento fa molto bene a chi gestisce il potere, nelle Università, nelle Istituzioni, nelle Aziende. E oggi è proprio il non condividere questo modello sociale che rappresenta la forma sottile e terribile di punizione: l’esclusione.
Perché si continua a chiamare formazione quello che è sempre di più un processo di “tecnicizzazione”?
Io non so perché, qualcuno resiste e nasce una rivista di idee, di dibattito, pensieri, narrazioni, certo è che tra tutti i pezzi di legno della catasta qualcuno c’è la fa a diventare un vero uomo. Le buone mammine-fate turchine italiane, i Gatti e la Volpe S.p.a, il campo dei miracoli.com, il Paese dei balocchi Media-set tutto viene maciullato e c’è sempre qualcuno a dire: “è la modernità!”, quelli che si credono più all’avanguardia, dicono: “è la post-modernità!!” e ci scrivono libri da far comprare ai loro studenti; ma la Las Vegas del Pensiero è solo una pattumiera caotica.
La politica (sia di destra che di sinistra), la politica “del tutto e subito”, della corsa a chi dimostra di fare di più, non è più capace di progettare nulla, boccheggia alla ricerca di idee che durino lo spazio di una consultazione elettorale, amministrativa, referendaria. Sia a livello dei singoli sia a livello della polis viviamo tutti un presente dilatato: dall’immediatezza del sondaggio, all’immediatezza di far carriera, essere scrittori (veda noi), insomma di consumare status sociale e patatine fritte!
Ed il futuro, chi ci parla del futuro? Qual è la politica culturale della nazione in cui viviamo?
Lavoriamo per migliorare e migliorarci! Collaboriamo con le forze e le energie vive, affinché la pianta della nostra società non secchi completamente. Non abbandoniamo in campo, non diamo dimissioni, non assentiamoci dal mondo delle idee.
Caro Professore, le ripeto, grazie! Il suo svelamento della “falsa innocenza” della nostra rivista, ci fa riflettere, ma è troppo facile indignarsi e arrabbiarsi, bisogna proporre qualcosa di nuovo, trovare un nuovo linguaggio. Lei non sa cosa significa aver imparato prima il linguaggio della Tv commerciale e poi quello della scrittura, Lei non sa cosa significa socializzare prima con i videogames da bar e le playstation e poi con la scrittura. Lei non sa cosa significa passare davanti una chiesa barocca, o ad un monumento, come davanti ad un qualsiasi ed insignificante palazzone di periferia. Lei non sa cosa significa non poter più andare avanti. Non poter seguire, non capirne i tempi linguistici, non avere più la capacità concettuale, non avere il tempo della mente per finire un capolavoro. In altre parole, Lei non conosce la cecità della società dell’immagine. Credono di vedere la Tv ma non vedono nulla fuori dalla rappresentazione televisiva. Ecco cos’è la vera “impotenza”, un misto di impotenza cognitiva ed impotenza dello sguardo! E quando gli occhi si rivolgono all’interiorità, e non vedono nulla, quando non c’è più capacità introspettiva, ecco nasce l’infelicità!
Ma, come dice caro professore, Lei non solo lo sa, ma naturalmente l’ho anche scritto! Allora anche Lei è “un vizioso” dello scrivere per studenti-professori e professori-studenti! Non mi dica, che anche lei è consapevole “dell’inutilità dei suoi scritti”?
Se io pensassi che la nostra rivista fosse solo un corto-circuito del genere e ne avessi la consapevolezza, smantellerei baracca e burattini (sic!). Ma è presto, almeno per noi per fare un bilancio, e ahimè la pensione è lontana!
Bisogna trovare una nuova forma di “comunicazione” che sia allo stesso tempo intrattenimento ed educazione. Spero di aver dato al mio testo il senso dell’inutilità di cui sono consapevole. Stamattina mi sento un uomo e non un burattino, ma non si preoccupi non durerà molto, il mio corpo, è pronto a ricordarmi che è fatto di legno.
