Avro’ avuto cinque anni quando ho iniziato un gioco singolare.
Ogni sera, nel letto, prima di addormentarmi, con gli occhi chiusi,pensavo al grado di parentela che formalmente lega le persone.
Partivo da me,figlio di due genitori e mi collocavo all’interno di una famiglia che aveva ed ha una sua storia. A ritroso, ripetevo la stessa operazione per i miei genitori: una grande mescolanza di persone e di storie accomunate, forse, per l’appartenenza ad un’unica e medesima storia. Il gioco aveva ogni sera breve durata, in quanto vincolato dalla mia breve memoria. La singolarita’ del gioco consiste nel fatto che, gia’ a quell’eta’,intuivo che se avessi potuto,sarei andato indietro, a ritroso nel tempo, percorrendo il viaggio e le storie di tante persone, fino ad arrivare all’inizio della storia.
L’inizio della vita; l’idea di un primo motore immobile,fonte originaria, generatrice di tutto l’esistente; di un infinito che si manifesta in infiniti modi,uno di questi la vita in tutte le sue manifestazioni originate da una stessa matrice.
Ipotizzavo l’idea di un disegno perfetto ed armonioso che regola e permea tutto l’esistente; di un’unita’ che racchiude in se’ una molteplicita’; di una molteplicita’ che racconta dell’unita’.L’uomo e’ uno degli infiniti tasselli di un puzzle dai contorni indefiniti.
Generati da un Tutto; siamo parte di un Tutto; la nostra matrice racconta il Tutto.
Nella nostra primissima infanzia, non avendo ancora affinato l’uso dei sensi e ancora poco contaminati dai codici di una cultura, sembriamo gioire nel Tutto, come esistenze incondizionate, terreno fertile pronto ad accogliere l’impronta della vita.
Nel tempo, l’incalzante pressione di una cultura,depositaria di codici tramandati di generazione in generazione, se da un lato ci offre degli strumenti per procedere da profani nel nostro viaggio terreno, dall’altro ci violenta, ci incasella, proponendoci modelli e desideri preconfezionati, esterni a noi. Siamo educati ad osservare una morale fatta di dogmi, divieti, dettami adatti ad un essere non pensante, finalizzati a mantenerci in un sonnambulismo perpetuo che ci proietta fuori da noi stessi.
Addestrati da una cultura del “giusto o sbagliato”, siamo lanciati nel viaggio della vita, muniti di un codice culturale che ci permette di riconoscere ovunque, in ogni nostra azione o pensiero,in ogni evento a noi manifesto, il bene e il male.
I condizionamenti che riceviamo da questa nostra “ascensione” culturale, alienano la nostra originaria provenienza; strutturano in ciascuno, un’identita’ esteriore che poco racconta di noi se non il percorso culturale dal quale proveniamo ed i meccanismi che manovrano la nostra vita; limitano la nostra sperimentazione solo ad esperienze considerate lecite dai nostri codici culturali; ci educano ad una visione frammentaria del mondo. L’uno si sgretola in una miriade di eventi dentro e fuori di noi.
Il mondo ci appare popolato da tantissime forme di vita che vivono apparentemente di una vita autonoma. L’uomo vive rannicchiato su se stesso, come se la propria vita prescindesse da quella degli altri. Ci muoviamo nella vita di tutti i giorni, come su un palcoscenico sul quale, quotidianamente, consolidiamo o affermiamo il personaggio che meglio si colloca nel nostro contesto culturale. Proponiamo, senza mai stancarci, una farsa rappresentata da parole altisonanti, da una grande fiera di fronzoli, per suscitare curiosita’ ed approvazione. Siamo registi ed attori del film della nostra vita. Incarniamo modelli che non ci appartengono e alimentiamo la cultura dell’esteriore.
Ogni azione in questa direzione svilisce la parte migliore di noi stessi, spogliata dai fronzoli, fatta anche di dubbi e paure, ma che rappresenta il modello che meglio ci calza.
Come una cinepresa proietta su uno schermo una sequenza di fotogrammi, proiettiamo sullo schermo della nostra coscienza l’idea che abbiamo del mondo, approssimata da quelle che sono le nostre conoscenze, le nostre esperienze, la nostra emotivita’.
Nell’illusione di essere assoluti, che le nostre idee lo siano e confidando nella nostra infallibile capacita’ di saper distinguere cio’ che e’ reale da cio’ che non lo e’,navighiamo, a nostra insaputa, nel mondo del relativo.
La realta’ e’ la proiezione di un’idea. Esistono dunque tante realta’ quante sono le idee, filtrate attraverso i codici di culture differenti.
La “nostra” realta’, cosi’ come noi la rappresentiamo, non ha valenza assoluta, ma e’ relativa a noi stessi.
I nostri pianti di insoddisfazione per la vita che conduciamo, sono seguiti, quasi sempre, da frenetici tentativi di modifica di un miraggio: la realta’ esterna a noi.
Riarrediamo la nostra casa; definiamo meglio il nostro look; ci circondiamo di oggetti e di tutto cio’ che desideriamo, sperando cosi’ di colmare un vuoto che ci lacera dentro.
Tutti espedienti che ci fanno scivolare in una sorta di ubriacatura che ci rilancia, per un po’, come interpreti della nostra vita. Vano e’ ogni tentativo di modifica di cio’ che non e’.
Il vuoto che ci lacera e’ generato proprio dall’estraneita’ tra il personaggio che incarniamo, calcando il palco della vita e l’essenza profonda di noi stessi.
Andiamo alla fonte;analizziamo le idee che nutrono il nostro personaggio e i nostri miraggi e forse riusciremo a far breccia nella nostra corteccia culturale; a concederci nuove proiezioni che meglio approssimano chi siamo.
Cosa ci faccio qua’? Che senso ha la vita? Ci sara’ capitato almeno una volta di porci di fronte a questi quesiti. E poi, la paura della morte e cosa ci aspetta dopo di essa?
Il gioco della vita potrebbe rappresentare una scuola utilissima. Offre la possibilita’ di sperimentarci, di confrontarci, di smussare la rigidita’ delle nostre convinzioni, al fine di condurci a noi stessi, a chi siamo e da dove proveniamo.
Spaventati dalla morte e incapaci di dare risposte convincenti alle nostre domande, abbiamo relegato alla chiesa tale compito,la quale ci propone atti di fede in mancanza di risposte sensate e soprattutto ci fa intravedere la possibilita’ del riscatto dopo la morte, con la favola del paradiso e dell’inferno. Scrollati da pensieri troppo ingombranti, ci siamo lanciati alla conquista del mondo.
L’uno rimane forse solo un’idea inconscia, sepolta sotto le fondamenta della cultura e delle buone maniere. La nostra appartenenza ad un disegno perfetto ed armonioso e’ perduta.
Dimentichi di noi stessi; incapaci di dare risposta al senso della vita e alla brevita’ della nostra esistenza, appiattiti, uniformati, occupiamo il nostro tempo in “distrazioni” che sono diventate uno scopo della nostra vita, una di queste: accumulare denaro e potere.
Siamo dunque spinti ad affermarci, in una corsa contro il tempo, per allargare il nostro potere. Nel lavoro fatichiamo per arrivare a ricoprire cariche prestigiose.
Curiamo la nostra immagine all’esasperazione, per renderla vincente e carismatica, ispirandoci ai modelli rilanciati dalle soapopera di successo.
Abbiamo creato un elenco esteso di desideri comuni al genere umano e nella realizzazione dei quali abbiamo riposto la nostra piu’ alta realizzazione.
Dov’e’ finita la nostra individualita’, la nostra capacita’ di pensare ed il nostro senso critico che ci distinguono dagli animali?
Siamo diventati abilissimi in tanti campi, abbiamo creato uno sviluppo tecnologico senza eguali, siamo stati sulla Luna, ma quando ci chiediamo quale sia un nostro desiderio autentico, sganciato dalle mode del tempo, ci troviamo in grande difficolta’, perche troppo lontani da noi stessi. La vocazione, la passione ardente, la curiosita’ di comprendere il senso delle cose sono soggiogate da uno stereotipo culturale: l’uomo di successo.
Abbiamo spinto troppo la nostra attenzione fuori da noi, da essere diventati dei predatori che si ingegnano per estendere il proprio dominio.
Il senso di onnipotenza e di superiorita’ rispetto ad ogni forma esistente, che sovente si impossessano di noi, ci portano a giocare un gioco pericoloso.
Abbiamo manipolato ogni risorsa che la Terra ci offre, adulterandola e rendendola quasi insufficiente alle nostre esigenze di sopravvivenza. Abbiamo concorso all’estinzione di alcune forme di vita, facendo saltare equilibri che ignoriamo. Altre forme di vita sono state modificate geneticamente per un gesto folle di potere. La follia ci offusca la mente visto che risulta estremamente semplice distruggere il mondo, mentre risulta quasi impossibile distruggere l’idea che abbiamo del mondo e di noi stessi.
Siamo un microcosmo nel macrocosmo. Ogni azione distruttiva del mondo esterno a noi ci fa scivolare su un’ orbita che non ha come centro il nostro centro.
L’idea di una realta’ frammentaria si insinua ovunque, in ogni nostra cellula e diventa la lente attraverso la quale guardiamo il mondo.Il momento storico che viviamo offre una notevole quantita’ di esempi: la nostra medicina occidentale seziona un corpo in tanti organi e associa i sintomi ad essi connessi.Curiamo un sintomo ignorando le cause che lo hanno generato. La farmacologia che abbiamo strutturato e’ perfetta nell’abbattimento del sintomo, unico campanello d’allarme che fa da ponte tra noi e le richieste del nostro corpo.
Esiste una profonda scissione tra la patologia e noi stessi. Esistono i sintomi, di cui abbiamo tracciato mappe descrittive accurate e noi che nella nostra unita’ psicofisica sembriamo non essere in relazione con essi. Senza accorgercene, abbiamo modificato la professione di uno studioso, di un uomo di scienza che dovrebbe scrutare, analizzare, scandagliare la realta’ delle cose, in quella di un venditore di farmaci.
Il primo essere umano che ha stravolto l’equilibrio alimentare dei propri animali, sostituendo al pascolo le farine animali, avra’ probabilmente pensato che mandare i propri animali all’ingrasso, avrebbe soddisfatto le esigenze commerciali di un mercato piu’ vasto e con cio’ ingrassato ulteriormente le proprie tasche.Abbiamo cosi’ immesso un seme che inevitabilmente ha modificato geneticamente una razza animale e diffuso un contagio la cui estensione , forse, sfugge al nostro controllo.Basta una notizia che ci racconta della destrezza con cui il contagio sia stato circoscritto a tranquillizzarci e a fugare ogni nostro sospetto.
L’idea di unita’ e’ perduta.La molteplicita’ traccia le linee della nostra vita e noi , interpreti di essa, passiamo da un personaggio all’altro,seguendo copioni differenti,finanche opposti. La molteplicita’ racconta dell’unita’; l’unita’ racchiude in se’ la molteplicita’.
Se esiste un copione che racconti di un equilibrio tra gli opposti,che descriva gli opposti come due correnti , una ascendente l’altra discendente,la cui azione antagonista infinita ripristini infinitamente un’equilibrio, quello dovrebbe essere il copione da interpretare nel nostro cammino nella vita.
La Fisica classica,attraverso tecniche specifiche,che vanno dall’osservazione alla stesura di dati,dalla formulazione di ipotesi alla verifica sperimentale della validita’ di queste,arriva alla formulazione di una legge che matematicamente rappresenta la carta d’identita’ di un fenomeno osservato. Uno dei limiti della fisica classica consiste nel considerare un fenomeno come un evento esterno a noi,la cui manifestazione prescinde da noi.La fisica moderna rappresenta un superamento di tale limite.Considera l’osservatore parte attiva di un evento.Fa distinzione tra cio’ che e’ e cio’ che percepiamo.La nostra formulazione analitica della realta’ diventa pertanto un approssimazione della realta’.L’essere umano diventa uno degli infiniti eventi la cui evoluzione ,attraverso infiniti stati di equilibrio,partecipa all’evoluzione del Tutto.Ad ogni azione corrisponde una reazione;ogni nostra azione,un semplice pensiero,pensiamo vivino giusto il tempo in cui ad essi e’ rivolta la nostra attenzione.Gli eventi interagiscono,sono causa l’uno dell’altro;se cosi’ non fosse,se ogni evento avesse un autonomia di manifestazione sarebbe per noi impossibile ogni previsione e cio’ minerebbe la solidita’ delle leggi che descrivono il loro comportamento.
